Selected as a Norman Foster Foundation Scholar. The grant was awarded to ten students from around the world to attend Norman Foster Foundation Atelier held in November 2017.

Received 3rd prize in Soft Component Technologies category at Soft Material Robot Challenge, IEEE ICRA 2017 for the submission ‘Soft origami robot driven by electrostatic force’. This work has also been featured by several prominent national and international media including Reuters.
